Do you feel like time is flying by? Are you completely exhausted at the end of the day? Are your energy levels close to zero? You might rightly think: “I should take some time off to relax!” But, alas, that moment seems to never arrive. And you start your day again with the same result awaiting you at its end. What happens is that we are living with the autopilot on and we do things without even thinking about them, without even enjoying them, even those enjoyable things such as drinking a hot cup of coffee while watching the day begin through your window, taking a warm bath in the morning or reading your most anticipated book in your favorite couch.
I started thinking about all this a while back and I decided to give myself a gift… I bought myself the self-care and home products by RITUALS
And, dare I say, my happiness arrived in a wonderful box! I gave myself the gift of enjoying my daily rituals with products of the utmost quality, products that were created with the transformation of your daily routines into experiences with meaning in mind. These are products that can help you reach the balance that you need to feel well because when you are balanced and centered inside, it shows on the outside!
First, I started taking my showers with the shower foam from RITUALS’ Sakura collection and applying the body lotion right after that. Not only did the lotion nourish my skin because of its active ingredients –rice milk and cherry blossom– but it also afforded me an aromatherapy session because of its sweet scents. This ritual is inspired by the ancestral practices of the HANAMI. It helps me to start the day feeling like I am on the right track.
In the evening I always try to take a little break to reconnect and recharge my energy. At that time I love having a hot cup of tea and lighting up a luxury aromatic candle from the AYURVEDA collection. Thanks to this candle I can find harmony and balance again, both part of the ancestral ayurvedic wisdom.
I invite you to reconnect with yourself, to love yourself, to take care of yourself, and to live in the here and now. Like I do, add moments that have a meaning in your life and that will help you to live and feel better. Give yourself and others the gift of those moments!
Oh, and my last tip: several times a day, practice deep breathing. It will help you relax, besides keeping your body and soul young.
Lots of love,
